From Vision to Legacy
West Star Interiors, Inc. was founded in 1990 by Charles Drawdy and David Stratton, combining Mr. Drawdy's extensive field expertise with Mr. Stratton's solid business acumen.
After the untimely passing of David Stratton in the first years of the business, Mr. Drawdy chose to honor their shared vision, ensuring West Star Interiors, Inc.’s perseverance and has successfully completed over $234,000,000 of project throughout the Tampa Bay area and beyond.

Our Team
Robert Shortt has been with West Star Interiors, Inc., since its inception in 1990, starting out in the field working hands-on with tools. Over the years, he has gained invaluable experience by tackling every aspect of the job, eventually being promoted to Field Superintendent, then Project Manager, and now Vice President.
Throughout his career, Robert has developed a strong set of skills in problem-solving, field coordination, and business procurement. Above all, he prides himself on building long-lasting relationships with general contractors across the state of Florida, grounded in honesty, integrity, and faith in a handshake.
With a commitment to ensuring safe, high-quality, and successful projects from start to finish, Robert remains dedicated to upholding the values that have made West Star Interiors a trusted name in the industry.
Since joining West Star Interiors, Inc. in 1999, Shana Wesley has grown into a pivotal figure within the company. Over the years, she has developed a comprehensive skill set that includes accounting, financial oversight, and exceptional abilities in time management, multi-tasking, and building strong relationships with the team.
As Controller, Shana plays a crucial role in the day-to-day operations, ensuring the company’s financial health and stability. Her contributions go beyond just managing finances—she is a trusted advisor who helps guide key decisions, supports the growth of the business, and fosters a collaborative environment within the company. With a passion for her work and a commitment to excellence, Shana continues to be an integral part of the company's ongoing success.
Devin McLeod was born and raised in Zephyrhills, Florida, where he developed a strong appreciation for hard work, family values, and determination from an early age. Since 2015, he has built his career in the construction industry, working with West Star Interiors, Inc., where he has continued to grow his skills and leadership while contributing to the success of the company.
Family is at the center of Devin’s life. He is married and the proud father of three children, and he considers himself fortunate to be part of a large, close-knit family that spends a great deal of time together. Providing for and setting an example for his family is one of the driving forces behind everything he does.
Outside of work, Devin pursues his passion for racing dirt stock cars on the weekends, embracing the competitive spirit and discipline that comes with the sport. When he’s not at the track, he enjoys spending time on the water boating with family and friends.
Known for his strong work ethic and natural leadership, Devin strives each day to become a better version of himself for his family and for those around him. He firmly believes that success is built through dedication, perseverance, and the willingness to work hard to achieve the goals you set for yourself.
With over 23 years of experience in the construction industry, Aaron L. Hickling is a seasoned Construction Estimator and Manager known for delivering accurate, detailed, and timely project estimates. After starting his career in California, Aaron made the move to Tampa, Florida in December of 2014, bringing extensive expertise to the Sunshine State.
In July 2017, Aaron joined West Star Interiors, where he has since played an integral role in managing construction projects, ensuring cost-effective solutions, and overseeing the completion of high-quality work. With a deep understanding of construction processes and a commitment to excellence, Aaron continues to contribute to the success of the company and its clients.
